SUNNINGDALE

Sunningdale Golf Club is arguably the greatest 36 hole golf club in the world, and is certainly the crown jewell of The Heathlands.

The two courses are very similar, all be it also quite different. The Old has more of a charm, slightly shorter, and some say slightly more beautiful. The New is longer, a tougher test, feels more expansive and maybe more rugged. Both are absolutley world class, as is everything about the club.

Gil Hanse has recently delivered his masterplan to make some small changes to the course, predicated on peeling back some of the layers (including some trees) rather than any great alterations. The venue will only benefit and maintain its standing in the world of golf.
